The "Honor" monument won't respond to most pvp titles unless they are rank 9.....or 12 for hero.

The whole HoM should be account based, IMO. Character based actively discriminates against players who've roled a new character with each chapter.

Oh and so what if people did sell minis after logging them? That would only be a real issue if the HoM allowed them to be re-spawned, which it doesn't, does it?

Except since they are transferable to GW2, it would meant that everyone could have every single minerature in GW2.

is there a lmiit to how many monuments you can have?
if so can you delete some and put another up but still have the other one unlocked

ye i think accoutn based miniatures would fix it.
so what if the person would sell it after its there loss if they dont have the real thing on there character. people wanna show off there title or pet they would wear the proper thing if they want the full respect.

My first reaction to the monument is disapointment

I hoped it would be account wide so all the characters we have can be displyed there mAybe with a statue with a inscription with the titles that teh charater has attained not just the ones that are maxed.
Also It seems that the Legendary PvE titles gets no love only the max titles track and the PvP titles..why do the pvp titles get more love than the Pve titles..Once again a-net shows that they favor pvp.

Also I want to agree with people that the auto customize of mini pets for one character is crap. I enjoy switching mini pets around on my chars thats over if I chose to displey them in one characters monument.

I have to say that in my opinion that the monument is a huge disapointment, and a-net should put a lot more work in this before the final game is released.

no no.. I was never expecting them to be tradable once in the HoM. But I did expect to be able to store them there and have access to them on my whole account... ATM I'm literally wasting 10 spots with minis... I never sell them nor do I give them out. I earned them over time with presents Keys and ect... as we all should..

I 100% agree once a Mini is in the HoM it should be locked into your ACCOUNT; and not tradable anymore.
BUT they should NOT take up storage space anymore either,
and Any character on that account should be able to have access to them in some way from there.

That is what we were all hoping for with that function in HoM. I can't say that what we were promised cause anet was always very fugue on that aspect of it... BUT lets just say it was Implied that it was how we would be able to use it. And what all the hype was about over it...

Another thing, I wish pet names weren't auto displayed but you could view them by pressing ctrl or alt, it makes it look untidy the way it is.

A.Net has broken it down into five aspects: Titles, Minipets, Weapons, Armor, Heroes.

Resilience - Ok not that bad I mean you blow that 75K plus any materials you need to make that outfit that will be saving your life look nice, I would hope they would give you a copy of it or at least a refund in cash for your GW2 character. It would be nice for your great grandson/grandauthger to have a nice inheritance from all your gold grinding glory.

Fellowship - Hmmm new heroes for GW2? This be great if we could get some right off the beginning like new NF character did with Koss. Still some of my primary character's heroes are armed to the teeth can I give my GW2 heroes that stuff too?

Valor - This is important as sometimes the weapon makes the critical difference between victory and defeat. I dont fancy loosing my weapons (espically my greens). Once again equivlents would help here but I dont like how its only been confirmed that EotN high end weapons will be displayed. I like my Forgotten Sword. It be a shame I have to lose it.

Devotion - Ah yes nothing like minipets to keep you company while you sit AFK. This would be great for thoes of you that either have the complete collection, or thoes of you nearing completion as it would extend that time you would need in Gw2 to get them all.

Honor - This one I don't like. I don't like we have another merger between pvp and pve on one monument. Every person, espically on thier primary character wants them to be in GW2 a legend that leaves a legacy. In all truth the only titles that should matter on here are the Protector and Gaurdian titles, cause that is what your going to be remembered for by Tyria, Cantha, and Elonia. Not be remembered you that you beat or got beaten by some other player that may not even live on the same continent as you. On top of that the Rank 9 req just don't make a person really motovated to get up, leave thier guild for a PvP guild so they can get that rank 9 Hero Title.

What's missing - What about your alliance? Kurzick/Luxon is pretty much an affliation you can't shake. How about a weath monument so I can give my GW2 character 100K to start out with to buy all the essentials. A Sunspear and Lightbringer Title monument would also be nice if the hero skills are kept, maybe give you a bonus amount so you can get a few more skills for free.

I would like to see any/all titles that you can get be in the monument, lets face it...not everyone plays PVP or not enough to get any of those titles. Be nice if those that worked to get max luck title, or defender of Ascalon *or what ever it's called* got one. Or even the survivor.

also goin on my point i said earlier about limited spaces. say i got a tiger monument and i no longer wanted it. Could i delete and say change it black moa.
Would the tiger still be unlocked? could i get it back whenever i wanted to?
Same with say armour; do i have to keep it if i want to change a monument?

Has someone got a cheap first year pet to sacrifice for an experiment? If you customise it and then bin it does it stay in your HoM? Depending on the results I guess the same would apply for armour.

but is there limited spaces in the monuments. like can you only display 5 armors; if you had more and you wanted to switch. And then you deleted the previous amor could you still make the monument again later.
i think there should be like a checklist scheme where it shows all the things you unlocked and you tick the ones you want to be showed

The whole point is, these things are individual monument halls,t his is something only YOU will really get to see. It be one thing if there was a united hall, but the only thing I'm going to care about is how I did, not compared to anyone else.

If you get something for each rank, or each few ranks, it will make more people want to work on them. You can see your progress grow and feel like your acompalishing something, rather then something you need 0 life and having played the game from day 1 to achieve.

I'm dumbfounded at the people complaining about needing to upgrade thier heros and be max rank PvP for the HoM. The whole point of the thing is to remember the BIGGEST accomplishments. I'd feel a bit let down if i could immediately practically fill my hero monument upon reaching the Hall.

The miniature thing i agree needs some extra loving to bind to account, maybe flag as untradable after they're in the monument.

The Title Monument felt incomplete as it started with just the PvP titles. However the interviews and review indicated other accomplishments going in like completing a campaign. So perhaps additional titles need to be unlocked with the tapestry? Has anyone tried taking their Tapestry Shred from Pre-Sear to the HoM yet?

What kind of a Moron with any more than a single character would want all their mini-pets assigned to just the one character?!

The only Mini-Pet to date I have more than one of is my Mini-Pig.... since my Assassin and Ranger each have one.
My Assassin is my main char... but Mini-Kuunavang, my best pet, is under my Necromancer's care and I wouldn't have it any other way. If my Assassin wants to benefit from the achievement of having had the Kuunavang though, why should my Necro be denied?
Likewise.... if my Necro has the Kuunavang.... something we only get ONCE PER ACCOUNT naturally (outside of spending stupid amounts of cash on another)... my Assassin is automatically denied that achievement.

Ridiculous.

While I don't agree with trading pets around to unlock everything, customising mini-pets to particular characters is unreasonable. I just won't do it. Simple as that.

few small surprises:

Tapestry: It isnt customized so I basically just did a few characs into HoM and gave all the tapestry that I got to one character and was able to open more than one monument.

minipets: Only displays 11 at a time. They are all displayed w/ white text, even if it's rare,green,purple...???

if u put more than that you have to "re-arrange display" just to see others, plus it's displayed randomly....I hope they change it to let us arrange minis our own way

Heroes: pretty much sucks, cuz I have all the heroes except I only bothered to upgrade one of them and didnt care for it. Now the only way is to go back and get the eziest upgrade ones just to display more. lol.

Titles: I basically just try to get one good max title for each of my charac. SO, in here it's basically not even going to count each title specifically, everyone needs to get KOABD, IVIP,PKM...I guess I wont be grinding at that one for another year or so if I even feel like it.

havent placed other stuff on other monuments, if anyone has the info on weapons and armor, and pets(which i havent done) plz do. if theres any "special" limitations etc.

**and yes as mentioned, I hope these were just a test and they do alter it for the better of the community by release**

Random professions put on display?! I think it would make much more sense to display the heavy plate armors that my male warrior wore, and a female version if absolutely needed. I really don't want to envision him wearing female 15k Enchanter's armor....

The titles displayed in the title monument only show up if THAT character has the title. Only account wide titles show up in all your characters' HoM. Armor is most certainly NOT account wide, so why should we be displaying sets of armor that character never wore?!

Armor, especially the 15k versions is a huge investment. I would love to see the time and effort I put into it be displayed correctly. I never liked, nor bought fissure assassin's armor for a female, nor did I buy the Rit fissure armor for a male.

ArenaNet, please change this.
